This project on Kenya's beautiful coast, was carried out by DMJ Architects in cooperation with Mruttu Salmann and Associates, as part of the Dalgliesh Africa Group. The essence of the design is that of a traditional Swahili homestead with a central ‘house’ surrounded by a ‘village’ of rooms arranged in courtyard clusters – all joined by ‘green’ streets landscaped with indigenous coastal flora.
